When Nexus can be accessed through the public Internet, it is highly probable that users only have access to ports 80 and 443.
The application should allow a different domain/hostname for opening ports, so that users able to SSH/VPN within Nexus' intranet can access content.

Alternatives could be Nexus providing a SOCKS5 proxy or wireguard link support.
